Located in the quietest part of the Broads National Park, rich in wildlife and stunning scenery.  It is about a hours sail from the boatyard at Martham Ferry to Hickling Broad and the Pleasure Boat Inn or Horsey Mere and the Windpump, half an hours sail to Potter Heigham with its shops, cafe's and pub.

Approaching Norwich take the A47 (Norwich southern bypass) towards Great Yarmouth, continue to Acle, then take the A1064 at the roundabout towards Martham. After about 1.7 miles Turn LEFT on the B1152 (Signposted Martham). After a further 1.7 miles turn RIGHT (Signposted Martham) this brings you to an offset crossroads, proceed ‘straight’ across (Signposted Martham). Continue into the village ignore the signpost to the Staith and Boatyard and continue into the village centre, immediate past the pedestrian crossing turn LEFT onto Staith Road and LEFT again after about half a mile onto Ferry Gate Lane, follow the road round until you reach the river and Oliver’s Sailing Holidays (Martham Ferry Boatyard).
